Summary of Case:	"Kate Sain was wrongly convicted on June 19, 2014 of misdemeanor simple assault for allegedly driving her car at, and striking a woman in a parking lot in Darlington, England in November 2013 that she was having a disagreement with. Sain claimed that she not only didn't strike the woman, but that the woman forcibly opened her car door and came inside to holler at Sain. Sain appealed after her conviction by a bench trial. On March 5, 2015 Sain's assault conviction was overturned by the Teesside Crown Court on the basis of insufficient evidence of her guilt. The appeals court judge noted the inconsistent and contradictory testimony of the prosecution's two witnesses."
