"Ahmet Salih was co-defendant of Colin Lattimore & Ronald Leighton. All three were teenagers who falsely confessed and signed false confessions related to an arson and murder of 26 year-old Maxwell Confait after hours of police interrogation and no consultation of the boys with an attorney. Two of the boys were illiterate and of very low intelligence and the third boy, Ahmet Salih, spoke English as a second language. In 1979, four years after the boys were exonerated, two other people confessed to the murder and confirmed the innocence of the boys."
