Summary of Case:	"Kenneth Samuels was wrongly convicted in January 2001 of the rape and indecent assault of a teenage girl based on her testimony. Samuels was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment. Samuels always protested his innocence and after reviewing new evidence, the Criminal Cases Review Commission referred his case to the Criminal Appeal Court. In June 2007, the three judge panel ruled that Samuels' conviction was a miscarrriage of justice. He was released after 6-1/2 years of wrongful imprisonment."
