"Siosifa Koloti Seluini was wrongly convicted on March 18, 2010 of perjury in Tonga. The prosecution of Siosifa Seluini was based on him allegedly testifying falsely during a hearing in the Fasi Magistrate's Court on February 5, 2008. On July 14, 2010 the Court of Appeal of Tonga quashed Seluini's conviction on the basis the prosecution failed to introduce sufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt he committed perjury."
