Summary of Case:	"Minaketan Seth was wrongly convicted on March 19, 2013 of rape and murder of a 15-year-old girl on the outskirsts of the village of Kandheithela, India on October 9, 2009. Seth's convictions were based solely on extra-judicial admissions he made to the police, because there was no other credible evidence linking Seth to the crime. On December 20, 2013 the Orissa High Court ruled Seth's convictions cannot stand only on the basis of his extra judicial confession to the police, and vacated his convictions as based on insufficient evidence of his guilt."
