Summary of Case:	"Chandra Valencia Smith-Anthony was wrongly convicted of larceny from a person for allegedly shoplifting a $58 perfume set in 2010 from a store in Southfield, Michigan. After Smith-Anthony's conviction by a jury she was sentenced to 4 to 20 years in prison. On July 30, 2013 the Michigan Supreme Court reversed Smith-Anthony's conviction on the basis the prosecution failed to introduce sufficient evidence of her guilt because she was convicted of larceny from a person, and the prosecution didn't introduce any evidence she committed larceny from a person. The reversal of Smith-Anthony's conviction on insufficient evidence bars her retrial under double jeopardy."
