Wrongly convicted of forgery in May 1939 by a jury. Paroled in May 1940 when the State Patrol informed the Michigan Bd of Pardons that Snodgrass was innocent. The actual forger was caught in August 1941 and convicted in July 1942. Snodgrass died in Nov. 1942 and no compensation was awarded for a year of wrongful imprisonment.
