Summary of Case:	"Joseph Steele was codefendant of Thomas Campbell "TC". Wrongly convicted on October 10, 1984 of what is known as the Glasgow "Ice Cream Murders." Steele and Campbell submitted an application to Scotland's Criminal Case Review Commission (SCCRC) for review of their convictions as a miscarriage of justice. Steele and Campbell's case was referred by the SCCRC on 11/28/2001 to Scotland's Court of Appeal. On 3/17/2004 the appeals court quashed Joseph Steele and Thomas Campbell's convictions. Awarded interim compensation of £200,000 in September 2005."
