Summary of Case:	"Frank Sterling was wrongly convicted of a 1988 murder based on his false confession after an all night interrogation session. Sterling recanted his confession, claiming that because of the lenghty questioning he slipped into a hypnotic state and parroted details given to him by the police interrogators about the crime. Frank Sterling was sentenced to life in prison. In April 2010 Mark Christie confessed to the murder after DNA tests of biological evidence found in the victim's clothing identified him, while excluding Frank Sterling. Christie was already imprisoned for his conviction for murdering 4-year-old Kali Poulton. On April 28, 2010, Sterling was released after 19 years in prison. Sterling died in June 2017 from a heart attack he suffered at his South Carolina home."
