Summary of Case:	"Kency Tari and Joe Timothy Tambe were codefendants wrongly convicted of arson in Vanuatu. On April 26, 2013 the Vanuatu Court of Appeals unanimously quashed Joe Timothy Tambe and Kency Tari's convictions on the basis the prosecution conceded the trial judge prejudicially erred by relying on statements taken from two co-defendants (who happened to be discharged during the trial) which evidence was inadmissible against Tambe and Tari. Under the circumstances no retrial was ordered."
