Summary of Case:

"Lisa Taylor was codefendant of her sister Michelle Taylor. The Taylor sisters were wrongly convicted in 1992 of murdering the bride of Michelle Taylor's former boyfriend on June 3, 1991 in London, England. There was no direct, eyewitness or confession evidence linking the sisters to the crime, and the judge told the jury that the case was entirely circumstantial. The convictions of Lisa and Michelle Taylor were quashed in June 1993 by the Court of Appeal based on the prosecution's failure to disclose favorable evidence, and that the endless sensational reporting and speculation by newspapers and tabloids that contaminated any possibility the jury could fairly consider the evidence they weren't guilty."
