Summary of Case:	"Jathan Tedtaotao was wrongly convicted in 2014 of the robbery of the Bank of Guam’s Yigo branch on Feb. 6, 2014. Tedtaotao confessed to the robbery and pled guilty. After he pled guilty Tedtaotao recanted his confession as contrived and that he had nothing to do with the bank robbery. During the trial of three other suspects implicated in the robbery by Tedtaotao confession, he refused to testify when called as a defense witness. Those three suspects were acquitted. Tedtaotao was then sentenced to 21 years in prison because he hadn't cooperated as he'd agreed to do. In January 2015 another man, Irvin Muna White III, made a credible confession to the police that he, his father, and a third man were the robbers and he asserted Tedtaotao had no involvement at all. Irvin White and his father, Jackery White, pled guilty to the bank robbery and both sentenced to seven and a half years in prison. On April 21, 2015 the prosecution filed a motion to vacate Tedtaotao based on the new evidence of his actual innocence, which was granted on April 27, 2015. Tedtaotao remained imprisoned on an unrelated burglary charge."
