"Michael VonAllmen was wrongly convicted in 1982 of the rape of a woman in a Jefferson County, Kentucky park in 1981 based on the victim's eyewitness identification. VonAllmen was released on parole in 1994. After serving 16 years on parole, VonAllmen's conviction was overturned in 2010 based on the investigation of his case by the Kentucky Innocence Project that established he could not have been at the crime scene at the time of the offense."
