"Jehad Wakeel and Abdul Wakeel were brothers and codefendants wrongly convicted of murder in the death of Wasil Shah on April 30, 2014 in Rustam, Pakistan. Jehad and Abdul Wakeel were convicted based on the testimony of witnesses. They were sentenced to life in prison. The Wakeel brothers appealed. On April 18, 2018 the Peshawar High Court set-aside the Wakeel's convictions and their sentences due to differences between medical report and ocular witnesses."
