Summary of Case:	"William C. Walker was wrongly convicted on October 21, 2002 of the robbery of a Dairy Mart in Canton, Ohio on March 20, 2002. After his conviction by a jury Walker was sentened to three years in prison. Walker was released on bond in May 2003. Walker's post-conviction petition alleging ineffective assistance of counsel for failing to investigate and present his alibi defense was granted by Stark County Court of Common Pleas Judge Richard Reinbold on November 23, 2004. The credible alibi evidence established that at the time of the robbery Walker at the Crisis Intervention Center of Stark County in Canton. After a hearing and evidentiary submissions, on February 14, 2005 Judge Reinbold found that Walker was "not guilty" of the robbery. On January 8, 2009 Walker filed his third complaint with the Ohio Court of Claims for compensation, and on April 21, 2009 he was awarded $85,865.85."
