"Anthony Welsh was wrongly convicted in June 2012 of disorderly behavior when he walked into a betting shop in Liverpool England on Halloween wearing a mask and carrying a bike handle. Welsh had refused to remove the mask when asked to do so, and he was charged. After his conviction by a judge he was fined '£100 and ordered to pay £200. Welsh appealed, and in June 2014 his conviction was overturned. Afterwards Welsh told reporters, "Wearing a mask on Halloween is not a crime."
