"Roy William Meads and John Joseph Cummiskey were codefendants wrongly convicted in 1985 of an armed robbery in Coventry, England based on police officers fabricating the evidence against them. Cummiskey was released in 1993 after serving 8 years of his 15 year sentence. Meads conviction was quashed in January 1996. On May 15, 2001 the Criminal Cases Review Commission referred Cummiskey's case to the Court of Appeals. On Nov 27, 2003 the Court of Appeals quashed Cummiskey's conviction."
