Summary of Case:	"Jermey Algonon Williams was convicted of possession of a controlled substance in Harris County, Texas, and he pled guilty in exchange for a supervised deferred adjudication. The State fled a motion to revoke his deferred adjudication, in part based on his plea of true to a new crime of possessing MDMA in Harris County. In exchange for his guilty plea Jermey Williams was sentenced to three years in prison. A month after his plea the substance seized from him was forensically tested and found to contain no MDMA. Williams filed a habeas corpus petition to withdraw his guilty plea and set-aside his conviction. On November 19, 2014 the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals granted William' habeas corpus writ and set-aside his conviction based on the new evidence he didn't possess MDMA."
