"Adam Wilson was wrongly convicted in March 2007 of manslaughter after giving a friend methadone who died in July 2006. Adam Wilson was sentenced to 4-1/2 years in prison, but it was reduced to 3-1/2 eyars on appeal. In October 2007 the UK's Court of Appeal ruled that a person couldn't be convicted for giving a drug to a person who then of their own free will ingested a lethal dose. Based on that precedent in August 2008 Wilson's conviction was quashed."
