Summary of Case:	"Edwin Wilson was wrongly convicted in February 1983 of selling C-4 explosives to Libya, because he was acting as a surrogate agent on behalf of, and with the knowledge of the U.S. government's agency: the CIA.. In 1999 Wilson filed a motion to vacate his conviction because the government introduced a false affidavit from the CIA's 3rd ranking official denying that he had continued performing work for the agency after he retired from it in 1971, and that 19 federal lawyers participated in a cover-up to conceal the falsity of the affidavit. On October 27, 2003, federal Judge Lynn Hughes vacated Edwin Wilson's conviction. Released on parole from a different conviction still under appeal in September 2004."
