Summary of Case:

"Larry Youngblood was exonerated by DNA tests of evidence accidentally discovered that had not been destroyed by the police. The Supreme Court upheld his conviction in 1988, and in doing so made its landmark decision that unless evidence is maliciously destroyed by the police, it is not a consitutional due process violation. His exoneration proves the fallacy of the Supreme Court's reasoning in affirming his conviction for a crime he was innocent of committing."
