The Supreme Court upheld his conviction in 1988, and in doing so made its landmark decision that unless evidence is maliciously destroyed by the police, it is not a consitutional due process violation. His exoneration proves the fallacy of the Supreme Court's reasoning in affirming his conviction for a crime he was innocent of committing."
